Welcome to Royal Scrapbooking Retreats!
In 2013, after attending several other scrapbooking retreats, we had compiled a list of what we liked (and what we didn't like) and came up with the idea of creating our own retreats. We wanted to incorporate features, options and services that we enjoyed and would add values for those attending our events. Most importantly, we wanted to treat people with respect and kindness (with no drama). After months of planning, we held our very first weekend retreat in May 2014. Eight people attended. Since then, we have been fortunate to attract and meet a lot of people who attend our events, most who we are blessed to call friends!
Our Story
While we get to play retreat hosts on the weekend, during the week we're busy working our full-time day jobs (can you believe that all three of us are in the mortgage banking business?). While we love being crafty, there are other things we enjoy as well. Some of our most favorite things to do is spending time with our families (and as sisters, we get to do that often) and traveling. Diane also enjoys playing with her camera, Susie is passionate about her furry friends and Debbie is partial to her wood-working projects. The three of us also enjoy listening to music and love to attend concerts!
